About Marinas

There are nearly 40 marinas in the central San Francisco Bay area, with a total of more than 11,000 slips. Many have some guest slips available for overnight visits. Some marinas have openings for permanent slips, but many have waiting lists.

About Guest Docks

There are few dedicated public guest docks on the bay. Many marinas have some guest slips available. If you're a member of a yacht club, other clubs can often offer a guest slip.

About Dry Storage for Boats

Sailboats and powerboats alike can be stored on dry land in a variety of facilities. Dry storage is less expensive than keeping your boat in the water and has the advantage of keeping the bottom clean and eliminating the risk of taking on water while in the slip.

About Boat Ramps

If you have a trailer boat, head to one of these launch ramps to get it into San Francisco Bay.
