Marina Bay is a relatively new marina built in the space occupied by the Kaiser Shipyard during World War II.

Access: Marina Bay Yacht Harbor is the easternmost of the Richmond boating facilities. After following the dog-leg to the left as the channel heads toward the Richmond Inner Harbor, look for the marked channel on the right that leads to Marina Bay.

About Marinas

There are nearly 40 marinas in the central San Francisco Bay area, with a total of more than 11,000 slips. Many have some guest slips available for overnight visits. Some marinas have openings for permanent slips, but many have waiting lists.

About Guest Docks

There are few dedicated public guest docks on the bay. Many marinas have some guest slips available. If you're a member of a yacht club, other clubs can often offer a guest slip.

About Boat Ramps

If you have a trailer boat, head to one of these launch ramps to get it into San Francisco Bay.
