Last year, the America’s Cup World Series Season Two included two weeks of racing in San Francisco. These preliminary races were in AC45s, which are 44-foot catamarans with wing sails.

The big cats began racing in early Juny in the Louis Vuitton Cup, the challenger selection series that runs through August. The America’s Cup finals start September 7th and run through the 22nd.
